“I’ve been so, so inspired by every artist in this category with me at a lot of different times in my life,” Harry Styles said as he accepted his trophy. “I think – like on nights like tonight – it’s obviously so important for us to remember that there is no such thing as best in music.”

Harry Styles album of the year at the Grammy Awards for his album “Harry’s
House.”
“I’ve been so, so inspired by every artist in this category with me at a lot of
different times in my life,” Harry Styles said as he accepted his trophy. “I think –
like on nights like tonight – it’s obviously so important for us to remember that
there is no such thing as best in music.”
2. Styles further added, “This doesn’t happen to people like me very often and this
is so, so nice.”
While we are all gushing over Harry’s win last night, let us take a moment for the
singers’ journey over the years.
Following the One Direction- Music!
This beloved Brit found his spotlight in 2010, after he tried out for The X Factor
UK. Judge Simon Cowell later paired him with other contestants- Niall Horan,
Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, where they formed a boy band-
One Direction.
The band’s career quickly took off and the five of them became household names
in the UK, U.S and beyond! During their five-year band career, One Direction
released five studio albums- Up All night, Take Me Home, Midnight Memories,
Fours and Made in the A.M, after which they broke up in 2016 to pursue solo
careers.
Harry’s Solo Career
3. In the June of 2016, Harry Styles and Columbia Records (the same label behind
1D) signed a solo contract. Following which Harry released his self-titled debut
album about a year later which received critical acclaims. He then embarked on a
world tour, also dropping Fine Line in December 2019, his sophomore effort.
The album featured singles- “Lights Up”, “Watermelon Sugar”, and “Adore You”.
US Weekly had named it the No. 6 album of the year.
“Watermelon Sugar” made quite the groove, as this single won Harry his first
ever Grammy in February 2021 for Best Pop Solo Performance, which he had
performed at the top of the awards show.
Jumping straight to the Grammy’s 2022, where he won a trophy for ‘Album of the
Year’ for hit record “Harry’s House.”
Harry’s House had debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Charts and the hit ‘As it Was’
charted at No.1 for as long as 15 consecutive weeks!
Now those numbers ought to bring home a Grammy!
