- Prepared the monthly and yearly progess report of Jatropha Curcas appearance such as plant height, canopy width,
number of infructescence and economic analysis compare between J and KU varieties.
- Performed laboratory testing for Jatropha curcas seed properties such as seed weight, %oil and moisture content.
- Prepared the progess meeting as usual.
26 July 2016 - 9 February 2017 Business trip to Taiwan for a research collaboration. (6 months)
Collaboration with the Sustainable Energy Research Laboratory (SERL), Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics,
National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan with objective to Techno-economic analysis (TEA) of a bio-refinery process
including: Hydro-processing, Pyrolysis and Fischer-tropsch from variable feedstock for producing bio-jet fuel based on Taiwan situation.
- Conducted the process simulation using Aspen Plus based on the lab scale conditions and results for materials and energies balance calculation
and then cost estimation including calculated the capital and operating cost for model feasibility study, which considers minimum jet selling price
(MJSP) as a parameter to investigate.
