There is a lack of warm meals for families with low incomes in Jekabpils, Latvia. Over 1400 people were classified as having poor socioeconomic status in 2015. The local company "Margret" Ltd, which has experience operating a public soup kitchen, should expand their social entrepreneurship by providing a soup kitchen for the city. They would increase prices by 10% to fund serving 45 daily visitors to the new soup kitchen. This would save the local government budget while providing nutritious meals and introducing social entrepreneurship to the community.
