1. APPOINTMENT AND RE-APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRPERSONS TO THE TAX
BOARD FOR THE HEARING OF INCOME TAX APPEALS IN TERMS OF
SECTION 111 OF THE TAX ADMINISTRATION ACT, 2011 (ACT NO. 28 OF 2011)
Government Notice No. 929, published in Government Gazette No. 31381 of
29 August 2008, is hereby withdrawn.
In terms of the provisions of section 111 of the Tax Administration Act, 2011 (Act No
28 of 2011) I, Pravin Jamnadas Gordhan, Minister of Finance, hereby appoint the
persons mentioned in Schedule A hereto and re-appoint the persons mentioned in
Schedule B hereto, for a period of five years from the date of this notice to the panel
from which a Chairperson of the Tax Board for the hearing of income tax appeals
shall be nominated from time to time or as required.
