21st Century Community Learning Centers Professional Development and Technical
Assistance (2006-2011)
Illinois State Board of Education
Dr. Donahue co-managed the Illinois 21st Century Community Learning Centers Professional
Development and Technical Assistance contract. She collaborated with the internal team to organize
multiple statewide conferences,provided technical assistance to individual sites, and conducted
professional development sessions on a variety of topics, including using data, sustainability, and
behavior management.
21st Century Community Learning Centers National Monitoring (2010-2011)
U.S. Department of Education
Working with the lead partner Berkeley Policy Associates and co-partner Westat,Dr. Donahue managed
Learning Point Associates staff on the National 21st Century Community Learning Center monitoring
contract. This involved developing site monitoring protocols, conducting on-site visits with both contract
and ED staff, and writing summary reports that were submitted to ED.
21st Century Community Learning Centers National Data Collection (2006-2011)
U.S. Department of Education
All 21st CCLC grantees are required to enter program information into the Profile and Performance
Information Collection System, the national database for 21st Century Community Learning Centers. Dr.
Donahue developed and implemented training protocols, sessions, and webinars for state and grantee
PPICS users to facilitate the data entry process.
