Hold Parent-Teacher Conferences twice a year, where
parents can come and ask any questions on their child’s

Create a more family style dining experience for the
children at meal times; breakfast, lunch, and snack

encourage a healthy, active lifestyle.

Duties:
Process Western Union transactions, which may require
handling large amounts of cash at one time.
Cash customer’s payroll checks
Assist customers with any refunds needed based on
pricing discrepancies.
Put through any lotto requests from customers.
Fix, and help run bottle machines. This includes emptying
bags and bins, or fixing parts within the machine itself.
Answering incoming phone calls, and transferring to the
proper departments if needed.
Processing money orders.

Interact with guests at the museum; showcase various
exhibits.
Describing what each exhibit showcased to guests.
Create marketing tools to demonstrate the interactive
exhibits; this includes posters, pamphlets etc.

at the KEVA exhibit. For example, I created posters for
weekly challenges.

Recreation Intern
Duties:
Interact with guests and assist in their vacation needs; this
may include towel distribution, selling swim merchandise.
Monitor Omni’s water slide. Assuring safety by only
allowing one customer at a time on the slide.
Run dirty towels backed to the laundry department, and
returning to the recreation center with clean, pressed
towels for customers.
Answering any incoming phone calls, and transferring to
the proper department if needed.
Create monthly activity calendars, along with the daily
activities. Some of these included sport based games or
leisure activities.
Work in the Camp Omni-monitor the guests’ children, and
their movements. This was, on average, at least once a
week. During Camp Omni, I would create arts and crafts,
different games for the children.
