• CASUAL WOMEN’S WEAR
Inspiration: Ancient Egyptian clothing and jewellery
BRIEF OF PROJECT: The aim of this module was to enable us to understand the
design process from visualization to the final interpretation in 3D form. The process involved
integrating and applying learning from Design, Illustration, Patternmaking & Garment
construction, and Textile Studies.
• MEN’S WEAR
Concept: Reversible clothing
BRIEF OF PROJECT: To design a collection of Men’s casual wear garments consisting
of 5 ensembles with a focus on the functionality and detailing.
• Indian corporate wear
THEME: Oasis
BRIEF OF PROJECT: To design urban corporate wear bringing traditional/rural
aesthetics into new urban territory essentially with use of silk/cotton fabric.
Demonstrate technical understanding through industry based speck sheets and costing
sheets.
• EVENING WEAR
THEME: Oasis
BRIEF OF PROJECT: To design an Evening wear or Cocktail collection with innovative
detailing and silhouettes using fabrics like silk, georgette, crepe, chiffon, satin.
• Leather Accessories (Exchange Program in Pearl Academy, Jaipur)
Inspiration: Block Printing
BRIEF OF PROJECT: The aim of this module was to understand and learn block-
printing techniques and use the same motives and techniques to make leather accessories.
• Women’s Contemporary Ethnic Wear
Theme: Kaleidoscope
BRIEF OF PROJECT: To design a collection of women’s contemporary ethnic wear
inspired from the kaleidoscopic patterns.
2. • Graduation Collection: Contemporary Indian Wear
THEME: Indian Puppets (KATHPUTLI)
BRIEF OF PROJECT: To Utilize all the learning from the past projects and come up with
a collection, which reflects the best of us and our personal style and sensibility of designing
clothes. Incorporating the whole look with appropriate accessories. Organizing a fashion show
with understanding of all the details like fashion choreography, background music for each
collection according to its theme and concept, make-up and hair for the models, professional
photo shoot and model coordination.
ACADEMIC STYLING PROJECTS

Costume period: 18th
Century (1760-1770)
Style: Robe à la française
BRIEF OF PROJECT: To study a particular costume period / era, select a particular style
of dress from that era, contemporize it and design a new style that befits your style of
dressing.
• A New You (Makeover assignment)
BRIEF OF PROJECT: To analyze a particular client’s dressing style and give him/her a
head to toe makeover based on their body type, personal choices and comfort level.
• Styling Shoe and Black T-shirt
Look Chosen: Glam Rock
BRIEF OF PROJECT: To study a particular fashion look and stylize white canvas shoes
according to that look and stylize a plain black T-shirt according to the look and the stylized
shoes and do a photo shoot for the whole look.
