Climate change is real. Global warming is not a hoax, as USA president Donald Trump addressed it. This presentation focuses on the effect of USA's policies on global climate.

4. Paris Agreement
US and China for the first time “agreed” to sign and
implement this agreement on climate change together.
China and US together are responsible for about 40% of total
greenhouse gas emission.
This agreement will come into force if only 55% of the total
greenhouse gas emitting nations sign it and from 4th
November 2016 the agreement is “effective and running”.
The main goal of the agreement is to keep the increase of
global temperature to well below 2 Degree Celsius.
Signatories aim to reduce greenhouse gas emission, mutual
climate technological development and become climate
resilient without threaten the food production.
The agreement also has a long-term goal for net zero
emissions which would effectively phase out fossil fuels.

6. Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement
Drafted 5 October 2015
Signed by 11 countries on February 2016 in New Zealand after Seven years of negotiation
Currently awaiting ratification
TPPA includes the most robust enforceable environment commitments of any trade
agreement in history
TPPA must fulfill their obligations under the Convention on International Trade in
Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and MARPOL
MARPOL 73/78 is the International Convention developed by the International Maritime
Organization (IMO) to minimize pollution of the oceans and seas.

Cancel the Paris Agreement.
Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement.
Increase the coal, oil and gas production of USA.
Cancel the Clean Energy Concept of Barak Obama.
Cancel the acts that ban fossil fuel use or exploration.
Walk out from UNFCCC.
Cancel the Obama’s plan to turn USA into a ‘low-carbon-emitting’ country.
STOP funding for Green Climate Fund and other environmental projects.
14. Consequences
USA is one of the top most greenhouse gas emitters. If they do not take steps to lower the
greenhouse gas emission, the aim of reducing global warming and climate change will be failed.
The agreement provides for $100 billion a year in international funding from 2020 to help poorer
countries develop cleanly and adapt to the already inevitable impacts of climate change. As USA is
one of the major donors of this fund, their bailout can cause a permanent decline of funds.
Donald Trump just not only wants to walk out from these Climate Change related agreements but he
also intends to increase the greenhouse gas emission by lifting bans on fossil fuel exploration and
use.
USA is planned to act as the main contributor of “Climate Technological Center and Network” which
will be tasked to invent new forms of clean energy and strategies to cope and reduce the global
warming. If USA bails out this could be a disaster on this sense.
USA have very enrich facilities, academicians, agencies, scientists, logistics and funding to help
themselves and others in dealing with climate change and global warming issues. Without those the
world will not be as prepared as expected. The total process of preparation will needed to be
restarted.
