In the 1950s and 1960s, a genocide occurred in Indonesia where many communists were killed for political reasons. Education is the best way to remember this genocide and prevent it from happening again. Through education, students can learn about the genocide by studying films, books, and class discussions to understand what happened and develop empathy for the victims. This helps students recognize signs of future threats better than other institutions. Education serves to legitimize and empower people with knowledge of the past so future generations are aware and can speak out against authoritarianism, inequality, and other causes of genocide.

intensive and eloquent image
of the various ways in which
the genocide affected
individuals.

composition and constitution of the
individual inasmuch as the collective, by

Education change ignorance and
furnishes people with enlightenment of
success and it makes them be aware of
the genocide.
Through education we know genocide
and students are willing to claim and
protest dogmatism against bigotry,
inequality, unlawfulness genocide as
assault and murderousness.
