Project Title 1 : Amazon Fire Phone
Project Owners : Amazon.com Development Center
Project Description:
Amazon Fire phone offers various features like Fire-fly, 3D Maps, Dynamic Perspective, May day, ,
E-Books & Audio books, Games, Apps, Videos, Music, Shop, and Web. It has a Touch display and
comes with 3G and Wi-Fi and also the Unlimited storage using amazon cloud along with 32GB
internal Memory. Testing compatibility & functionality of the device software is done End to End
from basic. Regression is done for the entire project test suite for every build. Stress testing,
Acceptance testing and testing the performance of the device is done on Regression Basis and
also Ad-hoc Testing was done once in a week on that particular build.

Project Description:
Amazon Maps supports 3D Landmarks, satellite, map and street views, pan and zoom, navigation,
mock locations and Routing. Testing compatibility & functionality of the Application is done.
Regression is done for the entire project test suite for every build both manually and through
Automation. Stress testing, Acceptance testing and testing the performance of the Application is
done on Regression Basis.

 Prioritizing & categorizing Bug’s for reporting to developers.
 Coordinating with the Operation Managers and QA team for resolution of any outstanding

3. Project Title 3 : Search Quality (MAP app), AMAZON MAPS

Project Description:
Amazon Fire phone offers various features like 3D Maps, general search, routing, and navigation
for the users. In search process when a user request for a query the application displays several
results. The results shown are enormous and can be relevant or irrelevant. In order to filter the
valid search results and improve the quality of the search process regular regression testing is
performed. This kind of testing is done on regular basis to avoid flaws in application. This project
cannot be automated and only be performed by humans because automation tool cannot judge
the results and
there is a wide range of parameters to be tested.

 Coordinating with the Operation Managers and QA team for resolution of any outstanding
issues
 Status Reporting and documentation (Daily/Weekly status report)

Project Title 4 : CAP (MAP app), AMAZON MAPS
Project Owners : Amazon.com Development Center
Project Description:
CAP is a sub project of Amazon Maps where in the customer feedback will be resolved. Based on the
feedback, we judge the query and then file a bug if any. We also get the Customer’s Lat/Long, query
screen shots and use it for Judgment and Resolving the issues. We get many types of feedbacks. Some are
invalid and some other are technical issues like Wrong entity display, showing the longest route etc. The issues
will be discussed with QAEs and Developers. Finally they’ll be reported to the vendors.

KCP is a team where Kindle application is tested in other platforms like windows and IOS for its compatibility in
Other platforms. Here we do Compatibility testing & Functionality testing of the Application. Regression
is done for the entire project test suite for every build both manually and through Automation. Direct
interaction with QAs will be done regarding New features or any outstanding issues etc.

 Improving Login Authentication using Graphical Passwords:
The project entitled as “Improving Login Authentication using Graphical Passwords” . This
paper presents an integrated evaluation of the Persuasive Cued Click-Points graphical password
scheme, including usability and security evaluations, and implementation considerations. An important
usability goal for knowledge-based authentication systems is to support users in selecting passwords
of higher security, in the sense of being from an expanded effective security space. We use persuasion
to influence user choice in click-based graphical passwords, encouraging users to select more random,
and hence more difficult to guess, click-points.
