If you are seeing any of the symptoms of
COVID 19 - cough, sneezing, fever

LET US KNOW IF WE CAN HELP WITH
ANY DAILY NEEDS
4. Many might think that so many
measures/guidelines/gyaan/updates is an
overreaction.
We just hope that it is an overreaction and
that we are all wrong about this.
Till we are proven wrong, we need to
ensure our and our family’s safety.

5. 5
By following some guidelines, if
we are able to save one person’s
health or life, wouldn’t it make us
better human beings?
6. Designate one healthiest and youngest adult in your family over
18 to do all your purchases of milk, essential items, etc. Rest of
the people should stay home to avoid exposure.
DO NOT TAKE TURNS!
Try to be conscious of usage and wastage - minimize both!
Do not hoard or overstock but do buy, if possible, essential stuff
at least last a week so you only need to go out 3 times during
curfew
Try to buy everything from one or at the most two places
nearest to you. Don’t travel far distances in search of a better
price. Do not go to wholesale mandis.
Try to find places which can take orders on WhatsApp or online
and can deliver or at least get them packed and ready for you
to pick up. This will also limit exposure
Remember to take cloth bags to bring purchases in. Tie
handkerchiefs or wear cloth gloves on your hands and 4-fold a
handkerchief to cover your nose and mouth before leaving
home

7. When interacting with sellers in the market, maintain a 6ft distance from
them. DO NOT exchange coins under any circumstances. Leave the change
with them. Do not touch anyone and minimize touching things. Make sure
your handkerchief tied to hands comes in contact with whatever you are
touching and not your bare hands
BE SURE to not touch your face while you are out buying things. This is more
difficult than it seems
Once you (or the designated person) come(s) back from purchases, ask family
members keep household containers or utensils ready for the stuff to be
emptied out/poured into without touching anything else. Then put your cloth
shopping bag(s) for washing. Let family members start dealing with the
bought stuff. The person who went out should immediately go and take
shower and put all clothing for washing.
If you are receiving milk from the milk-man, be sure to use a utensil holder
(sansi) or use a pan with a handle to receive milk. Then immediately put it on
fast stove for boiling and you must wash your hands. Maintain 6ft distance
with the milk-man and advise him to wear gloves/masks/handkerchief next
time he comes.
Anyone who does not live with you should not be coming inside your home.
Talk to them on phone. You can chat with your neighbors from balcony or
respective varandahs/porches with at least 10ft distance without anyone
touching anything as long as they are not sick. If they are sick, they shouldn’t
be talking to you and you shouldn’t be taking to them.

Refrain from spreading rumors
Be observant of symptoms in and around you
Disinfect phones, laptops, remotes
Keep helpline contacts handy
Do not let outside people come to your building/society/apartment
complex. They can be carriers, even if you know them personally
Beware of steel and plastic. The virus lives on it for up to 72 hours
Update

9. The administration has issued a lockdown notice for the city of
Indore. There is absolutely no need to panic. All essential
services, like food, medicines and tiffin operators will continue
to operate.
It is our very strong recommendation that you stay where you
are, do not travel and do not try to leave the city as might face
inconvenience in traveling. If you live in a remote town, internet
connectivity might be a problem. Traveling will also spread the
virus and cause the breakdown of social distancing.
Please take this advice seriously.
Update

10. What an eventful week! We did many things that we have never
done earlier and I sure hope we wouldn’t have to do again.
Keeping in mind the current situation we will be continuing to
work from home on 23rd, 24th and 25th March.
Please do not travel over the weekend, stay where you are. You
are safer that way.
Stay safe, stay healthy and I wish the same for your families.

11. Indore office is working from home today onwards.
Vitamin C tablets were distributed in Indore. Please consume
them!
Please see if you can get wired internet access -broadband
connection as well, if you can. There are chances that wireless
internet will get overwhelmed, specially in high density
buildings and Vodafone Idea might not see the end of this
epidemic
Smoking kills. Please try and refrain. This virus is looking for
space in your lungs. Weaker lungs mean lower immunity.
You have to ensure that you are healthy and are boosting your
immune system.
Update

12. Now is not the time to be complacent. It is good that Indore is
still unaffected, but we need to keep up our guard and be more
vigilant than ever
We are extending work from home for Pune till the end of this
week
We have asked most team members in Indore to work from
home to reduce the density of the population in the office
Please get adequate sleep - lack of sleep can cause reduced
immunity. We need all the immunity we can get.
When you leave for the day, please empty out the water
bottles. Do not leave water overnight in your bottles.
Label your own water bottle so that it is not swapped out
inadvertently. Many look alike. Use your own bottle please!
