Nifti Greenis a manufacturer and exporter of finished leather goods garments that prides itself as a quality
exporter catering to different market segmentsin many International markets inevery major continent of the
globe .
It was established as a sole proprietorship in 2010 by Mr. Sanjay Roy and restructured as a partnershipfirmin
September 2012. However, the history of Nifti Green’s principalsin the leather goods markets goes before 2010
as theywere involved in running a company called Ritam, which used to be 2nd
largestexporter of leather goods in
Eastern India.
They were able to carry forward their experience to build the new company, Nifti Green , in its formative years,
leading to a turnover of Rs. 1.75 crores. Nifti Green is currently poised for high exports growth andexpansion
based on the experience and goodwill itenjoysin the value chain – and is looking for appropriate operational
fundingfor this phase.
2. Where is Nifti Green right now
Nifti Greenis located near the leather complex in Kolkata, with 7000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, dedicated to
the latest standardsin quality manufacturing for international markets. The production capacityis 3000 pieces of
leather garments per month, with a minimum order quantity of 200 pieces per style per color,with exceptions for
certain trial orders.
Nifti Green also has a skills development wing,where leather goods manufacturing skills are imparted tofresh
and existing workers.

The leather garments industry isintimately dependent on high quality skills requirementsfor the international
markets. Being a labor intensive industry, most of the workers are Class 8 pass but are expected to understand
world class delivery requirements in areas like cutting, stitching, splitting, skiving and finishing operations. Hence
systematic skills development is an integral part of the business model. Besides, the principals of Nifti Green have
significantinroadsinto mobilization of rural population and migrating labor in various parts of West Bengal,
