2. For this observation lab,
I chose a countryside area,
near the beach,
in a place called Sintra in Portugal
3. Well located, the passage way is just at front.
But the colours are too pale for a grocery store...
Humm... Which wine bottle do I want?
What kinds are there?
Where from?
No signs!
Can't decide...
Nobody at sight here.
There's so much in so little space!
4. There could be jungle music being played
outside, the cages would have
been much more eye friendly if
they had a more natural look, not
to mention how nicer it would
have been for the animals.
The floor is wood like but the shelves are
very cold… When you think of animals
you think of warmth.
Let’s welcome an animal playground!
5. Modas
Vestcelest
Nice idea for the winter time! A glass
window where you can display
articles, plus a place where to leave
your wet umbrellas - “outside”! How
about some light?
The TV was on, there
was a lady chatting with the shop owner.
How about getting a sofa and some tea for
the customers to chat in a comfortable
welcoming way?
How about displaying fewer articles, but
more visible to those who are distracted in
the chatting?
6. The location is a little bit hidden,
how about coloring those floor
stripes in pink and green, just as
the logo?
Too similar to Chinese shops in
Portugal (famous for being crowded
with articles, low prices and
equivalent quality) how about
choosing a different wall
decoration?
But nice balanced corners
7. Rosa Maria’s
How about a sign? Basic but
always functional
Getting undressed without comfort?
I would love to see a fluffy carpet at the
dressing area, nice silk
walls and some
slippers
8. This is what is:
An Autumn day, nice
waves, surfers willing
to surf.
There’s a surf shop
that due to low season is closed…
……
This is what could be:
A surf school & renting surf
material bus? Easy to park at
any beach where the waves
are during low season.
