Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play based on an original story by J.K. Rowling and John Tiffany. It discusses Harry Potter's son Albus Severus Potter being sorted into Slytherin house at Hogwarts, which he is unhappy about due to the stereotype of Slytherin being the "evil" house. However, Harry tells Albus that the sorting hat makes the right decision and that there is no truly good or bad house. The author J.K. Rowling aims to show that Slytherin house should not automatically be associated only with dark wizards and can also produce good witches and wizards.
