Bajaj Finance Limited is the market leader in consumer durables financing and motorcycle financing. It has
extended its services to lifestyle and digital products financing. With the help of technological advancement
spot loan approval and cross selling with Bajaj Allianz ensured to have Book size of over Rs 311 Billion as of
FY15
The company is expecting growth of 33% in its total income which is near about Rs.16,558 millions in Q1
FY2016. It is heading toward to launch additional services during this time.
The company is currently focusing on carrying out different promotional schemes and cross selling service
to increase its market share. Therefore company launched promotional schemes on consumer durables for
Independence Day.
we only handled consumer loan provided by Bajaj Finance Limited in Bajaj Finserv group.
We got the opportunity to work during independence week and our project derived from the above
mentioned company objectives.
3. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
• Understand the approval process of loan on consumer
durables provided by Bajaj Finserv.
To find out the perception of consumers while buying
consumer durable products.
To find out the awareness level of consumers regarding 0%
EMI schemes.
To assist the Bajaj Finserv representatives in Khosla
electronics,Kankurgachi, and worked for achieving sales
target, collectively.

5. METHODOLOGY
• Sample size: 100 respondents
• Targeted Population: people available in Kankurgachi
area
• Area of survey: Kankurgachi area(Manicktala Main Road )
• Data collection period: from 24th August to 6th September
2015.
• Data collection method: data were collected through a
questionnair provided by Bajaj Finserv.
6. FINDINGS
• In Kankurgachi area majority of the respondents which is
25% have chosen AC as their preferrend consumer durable
product catagory
• Most of the people which is 33% preferred Samsung as their
preferred brand
• People mostly preferred which is 45% Khosla as their
preferred outlet.
• Most of the people which is 42% are aware of the 0%EMI
scheme.
7. RECOMMENDATION
• The company can give more emphasis on AC and brand
Samsung as potential demand is higher.
• Brands and outlets having least responses might focus more
on promotional activity and special offers during the festive
season to attract the new customer as well as exiting
customers.
• 0%EMI awareness must be increased through promotional
activity and more proactive counseling.
