Signature technology group walk now for autism speaks-2084
- 3. Who did you serve and what did you accomplish that day?
• We served the charity, ‘Walk Now For Autism Speaks’
• The past couple months teammates at STG have come together to show their support for children
with Autism. By participating in this event, we helped change the future for all who struggle with
this disorder. We raised $5,000 with the help of fellow employees, family members and friends.
• By walking, we helped get one step closer to finding what causes autism, how to prevent and treat
it, and ultimately a cure.

- 4. What is your team’s plan for an ongoing relationship with the charity?
• Our team’s plan is to grow our donations and walking participants year to year. We have teammates
that have children of their own with Autism so it hits home with all of us at STG and we understand
the sacrifices they go through for their children. The walk not only serves for helping children with
Autism but it brings us closer together as an organization to fulfill a goal and become more of
cooperate family than just work acquaintances.

- 5. How would your charity benefit from receiving a portion of the prize money?
• Every 11 minutes, another family receives the devastating news that their child has an autism
spectrum disorder. Help us change that!
• Autism is the fastest-growing serious developmental disorder in the U.S. – we need more volunteers
to join it’s fight. Walk Now for Autism Speaks is a fun-filled, family friendly event and is their single
most powerful force to fund vital research that will lead to the answers they need. The prize money
will not only generate needed funds but will also raise awareness about the increasing prevalence of
autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.
