2. DATA COLLECTION
Methods used to collect data included observation and
in some cases interview were used.
Primary data as the data collected from first hand
source by methods like surveys, interviews and
experiments.
3. DATA COLLECTION
In the data collected, it shows that the more the customers and the items
purchased per customer, the more the time consumed at the billing
section.
By using barcode system for scanning the items. Each item is required to
be scanned so as the price and total bill to display at the screen monitor.
The collected data of existing system help to know the components to be
used in different parts of the proposed system.
4. DATAANALYSIS
Different design parameters were obtained based on the analysis of a number of
data as discussed on the previous chapter.
Display unit
Character per line Minimum: 16 characters minimum 24 characters
Number of lines: 2 to 4 lines
Input: At least 2.5V (dc)
RFID Module [RC522]
13.56MHz RFID module
Operating voltage: 2.5V to 3.3V
Maximum Data Rate: 10Mbps
Read Range: 5cm
Current Consumption: 13-26mA
Power down mode consumption: 10uA (min)
5. DATAANALYSIS
ESP8266 NodeMCU
The NodeMCU ESP8266 development board comes with the ESP-12E
module containing ESP8266 chip having Tensilica Xtensa 32-bit LX106
RISC microprocessor.
Operating Voltage: 3.3V
Input Voltage: 7-12V
Digital I/O Pins (DIO): 16
Analog Input Pins (ADC): 1
Buzzer
It used in this project to set alarm sound when an obstacle is detected in
sensor receive signal from microcontroller and convert electrical energy
into sound energy.
6. DATAANALYSIS
Power Supply
All of the components in the proposed system uses DC voltage. To
convert 240V/50Hz AC to +5V/0Hz and 3.3V/0Hz DC. Power supply
unit will consists of, step down transformer, bridge rectifier, filter circuit
and voltage regulators.
