2 months before the module
1 Once faculty assistant is assigned to the professor, send an introductory email to him
informing on the assistance that we would provide him for the course
2 Send email to the professor on the assigned office no., telephone no. and extension.
3 Follow up with the professor on the course outline
4 Get the deadlines for the course pack, course website and grading due date from the
MBA department
5 Get information on the budget code, list of students, amphi/ BOR’s booked for the course
from the MBA department
6 As soon as the professor provides with the course outline, find the readings and articles
in the outline
7 Prepare copyright clearance form and seek approval from Licensing department to post
the readings on the course website
8 Request for course website and post all the readings on the course website
9 Send the link to the professor and MBA department
1 month before the module
1 Ask the resident FA of the teaching faculty to provide the flight details of the professor.
Accordingly make room reservation and arrange airport transfers.
2 Check with the professor on any IT/AV or simulation requirement for the course.
3 Finalize the teaching schedule for the course and nego role plays with the professor
4 Inform the grader on the nego cases and journals that required to be graded.
5 Send an email to HR to prepare the contract for the grader.
6 Inform the grader on the grade deadline for the nego cases and the journals.
7 Inform the grader on the finalized nego case session schedule.
8 For any required/ recommended books mentioned in the course outline, please make the
necessary arrangements
9 Create two assignments in course website 1) for 7 elements preparation sheet for the
exam and 2) Journal submission
10 Upload debrief sheet, Seven element Prep sheet and sample debrief on the course
website.
11 Arrange with IT department the video recordings required for the exam.
15 days before the module

1 Follow up with the professor on the handouts and IT requirements.
2 Arrange airport transfer for the professor
3 Check professor’s office for stationery items.
4 If the professor is new, place a welcome pack in his office.
5 One or two days before the course, check with the professor when the handouts need to
be uploaded.
6 Once IT confirm the vendor for video recording, brief the vendor on the service that is
required on the day of the exam.
7 Create nego cases on the nego platform. Enroll the students on the nego platform.
8 Pair the students for every case except the exam case.
9 Order from Harvard the soft copy of the nego cases. Put Licensing office on copy.
10 Upload the nego role instruction link on the course website in a document library.
11 Prepare a Preference questionnaire for the students.
12 Send out a welcome email to the students instructing them on the class rules, role plays,
exam and pref. questionnaire.
13 Send out emails via mail merge to the students on the nego case role and instruction link.
14 Check with the students on pairing for the exam. Update the nego platform with the pair.
During the teaching
1 Upload handouts.
2 In case the professor wants to introduce his assistant to the students, attend his first
session and get to know the students.
3 Release the grades for each and every nego case after the case has been graded. The
grades can be release via the nego platform.
4 Upload the schedule and student pairing for the exam on the course website
5 Send emails via the nego platform informing the students on their confidential role
instruction for the exam.
6 Send a reminder to the students to send in their seven elements preparation sheet
before their exam.
7 Check if the video recording team/vendor is on campus and give them the exam schedule
with the student pair.
8 If students send emails regarding their grades, course website access, nego platform
access, reply to them and direct them to the IT people to resolve the issue.
After teaching
1 After the exam is done, collect from IT the video files recorded during the exam. Send this
