- 1. CrossOver – WorkSmart Deep Work Score Formula Deep Work : Ability to focus without distraction on a cognitively demanding task. Attention Residue Time Block Flow IB = Start of block i.e. value is always 1 or the 1st minute. EB = End Block say for 4 hour time block 240th minute. Assuming 1 Hour time block it is the 60th minute. KMPA = Keyboard strokes + mouse events on a productive app in a minute KMPA_E = Keyboard strokes + mouse events on all apps in a minute or a constant or a presumed number. DIF(Delta Intensity of Focus) = (KMPA/KMPA_E ) ratio by every minute DIFValid = All DIF that satisfy the required conditions of a valid Delta Intensity of Focus. No Social Networking Notification or Email notification in that minute. Idle Time for continuous 10 minutes will invalidate All DIF in those 10 minutes plus next X number of minutes are invalid or are 0. If this minute falls in Time Block more than 4 hours then all DIF falling in those exceeding minutes are invalid or are 0. If sum of all the time blocks for the day exceed a presumed number of hours say 8 or 10 then all DIF falling in those exceeding minutes are invalid or are 0. FOF = Factor of Focused Flow (i.e. FOF) This factor of focused flow can have 4 values depending on in what period is the activity FOF1 =0 on 0th minute up to 10th minute. And this period from 0th minute to 10th minute Period is called P1 FOF2 =5% on 11th minute up to 180th minute. And this period from 11th minute to 180th minute Period is called Period P2 FOF3 =-10% on 181th minute up to 240th minute. And this period from 180th minute to 240th Period minute is called P3

- Intensity of focus automatically increases by a factor say K6 and peaks until 3rd hour of continuous deep work and like a stress strain graph of a material. In 4th hour K6 starts to decrease. And results the max out of focus of intensity somewhere in the 4th hour. And finally as the end of the 4th hour K6 approaches very high negative value. Intensity of focus collapses at end of 4th hour. Even if the person is working after 4th hour it will not be considered as deep work or after 4th hour all the deltas of intensity of Focus will be counted as zero Myelin : A special type of brain tissue that plays a key role in helping us acquire and master skills. Myelin Workout : It is required to build our mind capacity i.e. Rewiring our brain for performance.
- x=n−1 x=n−10 IDLE_F ≠0. If the SUM of previous K3 i.e. IDLE_F (n-1) , IDLE_F(n-2) to IDLE_F(n-K3) where ‘n’ is the current minute., is 0 i.e. there is activity then current KMPA become KMP A Valid .
