[All] praise is [due] to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. (6:1)
Our universe began with a hot big bang 13.7 billion years ago.(NASA)

Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them(We tore them apart) and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?
(Al Ambiya:30)

The Big Bang was the event which led to the formation of the universe which continues to expand even today.
The first microsecond was the formative period when matter came to dominate over antimatter.
The seeds for galaxies and other structures were planted, and dark matter (the unidentified material that holds those structures together) was created.

According to the Big Bang model, the universe expanded from an extremely dense and hot state and continues to expand today.
And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. (Ad Dhariyat 47)

Particles burst into existence. No one yet knows how this process takes place. From these particles will arise all the matter from which we and the universe around us are made.

Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.

And it is He who created the heavens and earth in truth. And the day He says, "Be," and it is,(6:73)

when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority.“(2:30)
So begins the story of Adam (as)

And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

لَقَد

Allah created Adam from a handful of soil containing portions from all its varieties on Earth.
Angels were sent to earth to collect the soil (red, white, brown, and black) that was to become Adam.
Therefore from mankind we have white, red, black and yellow ones; we have good and evil, ease and sorrow, and what comes in between
them.“ (Sahih Al Bukhari)
The descendants of Adam were diverse, all have different appearances, attributes and qualities.
Adam was molded from something akin to potter’s clay.

The First Greeting
Adam was instructed to approach a group of Angels and greet them with the words Assalamu alaikum.
They answered ‘and also upon you be God’s peace, mercy and blessings’.
From that day forward these words became the greeting of those submitted to God.

Hawwa (as) was created from Adam ‘s (as) rib to be his companion.(Sahih Al Bukhari)
Adam and Hawwa dwelt in tranquility in Paradise.
They are given the Libaas (Clothes) of Jannah.
Allah swt honored the first human, Adam:
He fashioned him with His own hands,
He ordered the Angels to bow down before him.
They all prostrated except Iblees.

Who is Iblees?
Iblees is a creature from the Jinns who created before Humans.
The Jinn are created from fire.
His original name was Azazeel.
He was the most righteous among the Jins, so much so that he used to be in the company of the Angels.
Allah (swt) ordered the angels to prostrate before Adam.
Iblees was standing with the angels so as to be included in the
command given to them.
But he refused.

He abstained from prostrating even though Allah had commanded him to do so.
He believed that he was more honorable than Adam.
He considered fire better than clay. He said “

ْ
مَِن
ٌْ
خَيْ
۠
أَنَا “
[Satan] said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay."
Iblees tried to justify his refusal:
"Shall I prostrate to one whom You created from clay?" Iblees said: "See? those whom You have honored above me. (17:62)
And he threatened to misguide the whole humanity,
“If You give me respite (keep me alive) to the Day of Resurrection, I will surely seize and mislead his offspring (by sending them astray) all but a few!" (17:62).
Iblees Threatens To Misguide Humanity Out Of Jealousy
