6. In 1996 , ANDY Levine started Duvine to share what he had
realized during a post – college cycling trip in Burgundy , France.
The first tours were developed out of a family run hotel Bellevue in
Beaune as Andy went off the beaten track to find people for his
guest to meet.
Andy believes that everyone should have the opportunity to travel
the world by bike and to focus on the simple pleasures: enjoying
food grown right where you eat it on the farm , spending time
talking with a grandmother whose memories are a treasure trove,
and experiencing the uncommon authentic moments that make
travel meaningful.
7. Duvine’s guides speak the language and knows the roads
and region like the back of their hand.
It’s a given that guides are leaders an and off the road ,
preparing picnics , fixing flat tires and cheering you on
through challenging rides.
8. Duvine travelers experience the best of each region –
world class accommodations , subline meals , and
carefully designed itineraries . But the most important
thing about Duvine trip is getting to know the amazing
attributes of travel by bike.
Peddling through the countryside , each traveler is
intimately connected to the landscape , their senses
fully engaged in the experience.
