>Camera and Editor on film about one of the world's leading Physicists, born in Belfast, worked at CERN.

>Editor and sound recordist of short fiction film about a brother and sister in modern Northern Ireland.
>Premiered at the 2015 Belfast Film Festival.

>Editor and producer of this crowd-funded film about underground music producers in Detroit.
>A part sequel to “All Ears”, film set to be released by record label in Michigan.

>Filmed,edited and directed this experimental documentary about the current state of Belfast, using narration
and previously unseen views of the city to explore notions of identity and history within Northern Ireland.

>Editor of feature documentary about hunters of Matsutake mushrooms in Oregon, USA.
>Produced by Josh Penn, Oscar-nominated and Cannes-winning producer of “Beasts of the Southern Wild”.
>Premiered at the San Francisco International Film Festival and Hot Docs in Toronto, both in May 2014.
Ballad of a Ghost Town (2013-5) – Rome, Italy
>Editor of this documentary feature film, about a village affected by the Vajont Dam disaster in 1963.
All Ears (2013) – Los Angeles, CA / Belfast, Northern Ireland
>Editor of feature documentary about the Los Angeles instrumental Hip-Hop scene.
>Premiered as part of 2013 SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas, and had a short cinema release in London.
You're Looking At Me Like I Live Here And I Don't (2010-2012) – San Francisco, CA
>Editor & co-producer of TV documentary about a woman who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease.
>The film screened numerous times on PBS nationwide in the USA, and gained very positive reviews from
the print versions of the New York Times & the San Francisco Chronicle, and the Huffington Post online.

>Editor of drama feature film by Cannes and Sundance-winning director Rob Nilsson.
>The film deals with the San Francisco Ballet, featuring many of its current and former dancers.

>Directed & edited this documentary, exploring the impending doom of property development in Belfast.
>Film premiered at Queen's Film Theatre, Belfast in June 2008 and as part of 2008 Oscillations Festival.

>Worked as part of 3-man team that made rare Northern Irish low-budget feature film. Worked primarily as
sound recordist and editor but helped with research, camerawork and production.
Professional Experience
March 2012 – present, Co-founder and Director, Second Chance Cinema, Belfast
>We have screened and organised over 30 film events, in various parts of the city, but with a focus on
bringing back cinema exhibition to the Ormeau area.
>Aside from our own events, we have programmed films for Belfast Film Festival, Ulster Museum, Cathedral
Quarter Arts Festival, Human Rights Festival, Household Festival, Belfast Pride and NI Science Festival.
December 2011 – present: Film Editor, Educational Shakespeare Company, Belfast
>Editor of numerous publicly funded charity projects, making films and documentaries for groups such as
childhood cancer patients, ex-prisoners, alcohol/drug rehab patients, or Survivors of Trauma.
>Maximum importance is placed on producing films full of understanding, sensitivity and respectfulness.
December 2007 – present: Freelance Filmmaker, Belfast
>Commissioned to make performance films, installation films & visuals, as well as documentaries, for art
galleries, theatre companies, festivals, businesses, schools, community groups & visual artists.
>Work includes all production duties to editing, design and authoring.
>Clients include Studio ON, Community Arts Partnership, Ransom Productions, New Belfast Arts, CQAF.
April 2011 – September 2011: Senior Artist - Creative Campus, South Dublin County Council
>Curating & advising a group of junior artists through the creation of a site-specific installation / performance
work within a multi-media centre, the work focusing on using digital, electronic and computing technologies.
February 2010 – May 2010: Video Editor, EarthJustice.org Coal Ash Campaign, San Francisco
>Edited a series of Public Service Announcements for Earth-justice, a non-profit public interest law firm.
>Work included two TV spots and two short documentaries, detailing the disasters caused by coal ash,
aiming to regulate the power plants that dump coal ash into public water supplies.
November 2006 – February 2009: Film Trainer, Northern Ireland Screen, Belfast
>Training inter-generational community groups through all the processes of filmmaking,
>Made award-winning fiction films & DVDs for presentation, all under governmental minister's supervision.
>Lead History and Film Editing workshops throughout various schools across the country.
>Filmed and edited documentary making-of films, each one based on an individual project.
September 2006 – November 2009: Box Office Assistant, Belfast Festival at Queen’s
>At Northern Ireland’s biggest arts festival, aside from operating in many roles, I often personally dealt with
directors and artists such as David Lynch, Crispin Glover, Ken Russell and Ennio Morricone.

>Promoting the idea of diverse and interesting cinema that is outside the commercial arena.

>Searching vast Internet and library databases, collecting and analysing data for a wide range of topics.
>Used a wide variety of content and mediums: newspaper databases, film, video and microfilm.
Selected Exhibitions
Tolka Nights – 2015 - Dublin, Ireland
>One of 6 artists who won a major commission to curate and create digital artwork inspired by the river Tolka.
>Our mini-festival consisted of outdoor screenings and performances, a pub quiz & a symposium.
>Funded by Dublin, Fingal and Meath County Councils, I also made a documentary about the whole process.
Out of the Ordinary: Contemporary Visions of the Avant-Garde - May 2014 - Naughton Gallery, Belfast
>Interview-based video piece in group surrealism show, focusing on pre-linguistic communications.
Pretty Deadly - December 2009 – Belfast / Sheffield, UK
>Filmed and edited experimental abstract film based on a gallery show by internationally renowned textile
artist Michael Brennand-Wood. Worked closely with artist over themes and style.
‘Blackstaff is Belfast’ – August 2009 – Ormeau Baths Gallery, Belfast
>Mobile Sound and two-channel video installation, resurrecting the River Blackstaff through sound, using
GPS controlled devices. First show of its kind in Northern Ireland.
>Part of juried show at the International Symposium of Electronic Art (ISEA), 2009.
‘Outside ISEA’ – 26th

August 2009 – C-13 Container, Waterfront Hall, Belfast
>Curated this mini-festival in a shipping container to coincide with ISEA conference.
>Work submitted included many internationally renowned artists; consisted of performance art,
live painting, video installations, music and film, including some of my own documentaries.
‘Ted & Daisy’ – April 2009 – Space Delawab, Belfast
>Group show with digital art collective C-13, based around the life of semi-fictitious couple Ted & Daisy.
>Contributed Installation film describing Belfast’s history, using stock footage, as well as curating show.
