Steven Krier played a critical role in developing and implementing a successful marketing plan as part of a class project at Fairleigh Dickinson University. The plan aimed to inform and attract non-business students to new business minors. Steven's group's plan was selected as the best. It resulted in over 150 students attending business minor fairs on both of the university's New Jersey campuses. The dean was impressed by Steven's initiative and role in directly marketing academic programs.

To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing to recommend Steven Krier to you based on a very interesting and important
activity that Steven engaged in at Fairleigh Dickinson University in fall 2015 and spring 2016. I
asked a marketing faculty member to supervise groups of students in her class in developing a
marketing plan (fall 2015) that would be implemented (spring 2016) with the goal of informing
and attracting nonbusiness students to Silberman College of Business minors. We have
launched new minors that would greatly benefit nonbusiness majors and we needed a way to
get nonbusiness majors interested.
Steven was one of a group of students whose project was selected as the best of those
presented in the class. Steven worked hard to develop and implement the plan, with results
that included over 150 students attending business minor fairs on both of our New Jersey
campuses. Steven played a critical role in this successful endeavor. It is rare that students such
as Steven show such initiative and play such an important role in directly marketing academic
programs. The faculty member and I were impressed, which is why I am writing this letter.
Sincerely,
Andrew J. Rosman
