1. Tommy Knuckles Tavern + Lounge Sponsors Grand Opening with the Charles Tillman
Foundation on June 4th
CHICAGO, IL- Tommy Knuckles Tavern + Lounge, new bar, lounge and restaurant serving Classic American Modern
food and drinks announces Grand Opening in the Lincoln Park area on Diversey Parkway and N. Sheridan Road on
June 4th from 6pm to 9pm. The Grand Opening will host specialty drinks and appetizers with donation of 5 dollars
minimum at the door. The Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation co-sponsors the event along with owners
Carlos Guerra, Terrell Tomlin and Martin Fernandez . General audience is welcome to meet the friendly staff, Chef
Ricky and black and white classic Hollywood celebs that line the walls.
“We want to reach out to the community and be neighbors, friends and buddies to everyone in Lincoln Park; a
place where you can relax and enjoy the game or your favorite burger” Carlos Guerra, Co -Owner of Tommy
Knuckles adds about the Grand Opening. “This is where we introduce ourselves and make a n impression that we
hope will impress people and keep them coming back; not only for business, but as a place to hang-out in the
neighborhood and meet your friends.” Terrell Tomlin, co-owner.
The Tillman Foundation will be at the Grand Opening to collect donations at the door for their charitable efforts.
The foundation mainly supports children with life-threatening diseases and complications. $1 from each drink
bought at Tommy Knuckles from the Grand Opening will also go towards the Tillman Foundation and those efforts.
Raffles and prizes themed for Tommy Knuckles and the foundation will be handed out. Every hour guests of the
Grand Opening have the chance to win a $25 gift card.
Activities and specials running at the Grand Opening will be appetizers, specialty cocktails, free photo-booth, ‘swag
bags’ and a meet and greet. The menu will for the night will consist of dates, flatbreads, burger sliders, Flautas,
Bacon, meatballs and eggs. “The menu will be our specialty appetizers”, remarks co -owner Martin Fernandez, “You
will have to come and see what each is like. They have a nice flavorful twist!” Specialty Cocktails will also come
from the menu and will be familiar to regulars: Killer Kool -Aide, Harlem Shake, Moscow Mule and Champagne.
Tommy Knuckles Tavern + Lounge is located at 433 W Diversey Parkway. Tommy Knuckles has been open since
May 1st and has seen a great crowd of people ranging from Lincoln Park locals, out-of-towners, the young and
elderly alike, parents, college-students and sports fans of all kinds. Positive responses from diners on online

the atmosphere and great taste that Tommy Knuckles offers.
Tommy Knuckles Tavern + Lounge is an American Modern Classic Tavern and Lounge specializing in homemade
comfort food like burgers, wraps, salads, chicken, lobster and lamb menu items. Chef Ricky has crafted the menu
to have familiar foods with a new and surprising twist and kick. The TV Dinner and Bare Knuckle sandwiches are
