A bespoke system designed to suit the existing theatre sizes and fully
integrated with the chosen imaging system, for this Hybrid Theatre
project.
Coordination was key to include the Maquet Satellite pendant system,
and off set from centre to allow the free movement of the Zeigo imaging
system.
Flush fitted to the ceiling allows total free movement of all the ancillary
equipment and avoiding unnecessary clashes with skirts or screens as
fitted by some manufacturers.
The void spaces were extremely tight due to the existing structure and
concrete support beams, was designed to accommodate numerous
trades, including the medical gases, Electrical containment and plumbing
for the theatre utilities. All the plans and detail drawings were overlaid to
avoid clashes, and executed in tandem thus ensuring maximum use of
the space allocated.
Communication with the client and Project Management was a key to this
successful project being delivered to the satisfaction of the trust.
