I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Stephanie Collins. I had the pleasure of
mentoring Stephanie for her final work term, after completion of the CRSP recognized 2 year
Occupational Health and Safety program through Keyin College. Stephanie has shown to be an
exceptional worker who is motivated to learn and a self starter who needs little monitoring once
directed. Throughout the course of her work term, she has received training for and is proficient
in the following:
 Hazard recognition in a mining atmosphere
 ITX gas meter operation and maintenance
 BG4 orientation
 Entry level mine rescue instruction
 Air sampling techniques
 Conducting Noise dossimetry
 Mine site inspections
 Orientation techniques and application
I found Stephanie to be a very positive personality and hope that she is able to maintain her
outlook for the safety culture of any workplace that she occupies. My only regret is that we were
unable to employ her on a full time basis. Our loss is your gain.
