4. Professional Landscape Design
Send us the architectural drawings, a project brief and preferred
plant list, then we produce all required designs, presenta ons,
drawings and bills of quan es you might need.
We would start with a concept design for your comment and
approval before progressing to more detailed designs.
The final product would typically include:
A landscape development plan
Plan ng pale e with photos of all the plants used
Theme image pale e or mood board
Measurements and bills of quan es
Drafting & Quantifying
Send us your hand drawn concept designs and the architectural
drawings.

We work quietly and relentlessly in the background to ensure that you meet your project
deadline on time and with the desired quality.
A er acquiring the project brief and informa on from your client, we are here to assist.
For us to get going we require the architectural and engineering drawings, some site photos and preferred plant
list with detailed instruc ons from you, our client.
Your involvement is en rely up to you. Con nuous quality and progress checks are standard, to ensure excellent
quality end-products.
We work on a pay-as-you-go hourly rate and can set up a predetermined set budget for a project. This budget
is then con nually monitored. A detailed project breakdown is available for review on the client’s request. This
allows you to see exactly what was spent on every aspect of the project.

12. Frequently asked questions
Who are your typical clients?
We render services for landscapers, landscape sub-contractors,
landscape architects, architects, landscape designers, design-build
teams and other professionals.
What is your service radius?
We provide our services to anyone, irrespec ve of your geographic
loca on. Modern technology has made this quite easy. We engage with
our clients over Skype, phone & email.
Do you need to visit my site?
In most cases, no. All we need is the architectural and engineering
drawings, some site photos and preferred plant list with detailed
instruc ons from you, our client, then we are set to go.
How will I receive my material?
We deliver the end products in JPG, PDF, and Excel formats digitally.
Dropbox folders are shared with each of our clients where you’d be
able to access and print your material from anywhere.
Would my clients know you are involved?
This depends on your preference. Generally they don’t. We are
perfectly happy to work in the background while using your logo on all
your material.
Do I get to provide input during the design
process?
You certainly do. We work closely with our clients to ensure the end product is
exactly what you need.
Will my info and projects be confidential?
Any informa on that you or your company submit to Seas of Green is deemed
confiden al. We u lise this informa on purely for the purpose of preparing all
designs, drawings, graphics and documenta on as required by yourselves.
What do you charge?
We have 2 hourly rates, one for basic services (e.g dra ing, measuring, plant
pale es and the like), and another rate for advanced services (e.g design, bills
of quan es, graphic presenta ons and the like). Larger, more complex or long
term projects may necessitate a different approach. For these we would charge
a fixed professional fee for services rendered.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept 23 major currencies including Euro, US $, AU $ and GB £. South
African payments can be made in South African Rand.
We accept PayPal, all major cards as well as direct wire transfer via the SWIFT
system or direct wire transfer to one of our Global Accounts.
What are your payment terms?
Our standard terms are 15 days from date of invoice. We invoice at regular
intervals for all work done during that par cular cycle. We bill you, our client,
directly for the services rendered on your instruc on. We do not work on “risk”
and do not accept payment from third par es or from your clients.
