Our Goal is to Inspire You to "Do Something Creative Every Day"
We want to join in as you to celebrate all of life's moments (the big and the
small). Paper Source has that quirky card, chic personalized stationery,
elegant invitations, or a beautifully wrapped gift that you are looking for.
We believe every item we carry represents a unique opportunity for you to
express yourself creatively in everyday life. At Paper Source, we are
committed to innovation and we want to be your choice when you want to
get creative with the special events in your life.
2. We Have a Rich History and Innovative Leaders
The first Paper Source store was opened by Sue Lindstrom in Chicago in
1983 to showcase beautiful handcrafted papers from around the world.
Throughout the years, we have grown our product offerings and
expanded our presence within communities with the introduction of new
stores, through our website and a wholesale division, Waste Not Paper.
Sally Pofcher held the role of CEO of Paper Source from 2007 to 2015 and
during her tenure she helped nurture more original designs and
increased the type of products we offer. Her strong commitment to
inspiring customers encouraged the development of more crafting,
workshops and demonstrations.
In 2015 Winnie Park took over the role of CEO. Park’s background boasts
the title of Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Hong Kong-based
luxury shopping leader DFS and Senior Director of Women’s
Merchandising for Levi Strauss and Company. Park’s experiences
managing influential brands, along with her love of all things creative will
help propel Paper Source even further into the future
Our Reach is Nationwide
Paper Source’s first store opened more than 30 years ago in a vintage
building under the elevated tracks in Chicago, and since then we have
expanded our warehouse three times. By the end of 2016, Paper Source
will have more than 110 stores. We are proud to offer events, classes
and workshops in our stores that provide customers with the
opportunity to interact with our collection in new and creative ways.
3. Workshops
We are proud to offer several monthly workshops in our stores across the
country that feature demonstrations in everything from custom rubber stamp
cutting to creating handmade holiday cards. Hands-on crafting sessions allow
customers to experiment with techniques including (but not limited to) heat
embossing, digital cutting and letterpress, all under the direction of a trained
associate. Our stores also offer private workshop sessions for small groups —
the perfect way to learn new ways to work with our collection of fine paper and
stationery.
Customizable & DIY Wedding Stationery
Paper Source is a destination for wedding stationery and décor. We offer an
array of customizable invitations as well as templates for doing it yourself. Our
invitations feature current trends including letterpress, thermography and foil
accents. Our Colorscope and full color palette provide a range of options for
your special day.
Couples can view our helpful wedding planning checklist for a timeline and list
of all your stationery needs — from save the dates and invitations to favors
and thank you notes. Our swatchbook is another essential resource for
couples, including paper swatches of all of our colors. This is the perfect tool to
bring when you are picking flowers, dresses and more to maintain a consistent
color palette.
Crafting Tutorials
Our series of YouTube videos also teaches a variety of different
demonstrations of crafting techniques to teach helpful tricks from our
associates.
