RESULTS
Darn Good Yarn started from just two
boxes of recycled silk yarn almost 11
years ago. Since then, they have
repurposed more than 1 million pounds
of waste material (keeping it out of
landfills), while providing sustainable
incomes to about 600 families in Nepal
and India. Darn Good Yarn currently
works with seven family-run co-op
exporters in India and Nepal who
provide stable, safe working
environments.
GOAL
Darn Good Yarn spent 4 months trying to find the right influencer platform.
They were looking for a tool that could help them track the sales that their
influencers were driving so they could judge the success of the program. They
also wanted to streamline their workflow and have everything in one place.
Their current system was based in spreadsheets, complicated, and hard to
maintain, let alone scale.
After just 9 months of using GRIN, Darn Good Yarn saw 212% growth in kit
sales driven by their influencer program. Subscriptions sales have gone up 20%
from influencers, and their email list has grown by 125,000 new subscribers.
GRIN takes the place of 2.5 full-time employees, helping them invest even more
into growth.
