From the survey and the interpretation, we can summarize that most of the rural young Indians
prefer to watch simple realty TV shows. English speaking young adults prefer to watch western TV
shows. Producers have the least interest in making informative and realistic TV shows for Young
Indians. Even if they make shows for young Indians it is just an unrealistic romantic story with
different settings. The shows wholly depend on the interactions between the characters, without
masala dialogues these shows have nothing going for them. Taste of educated young audience
had evolved in recent years and there stands a gap, which in future will eventually increase,
between the shows produced and the taste of Indian young audience.
