Advanced solution for composite buildings
EXPERT Composite is a reliable and effective structural software solution of multistory composite
and steel structures. All the features regarding the modeling, analysis and dimensioning of the
structure are fully automated, providing a modern, user friendly working environment for the
design of buildings made of composite structural elements.
EXPERT Composite can calculate and design all the types of structural elements required for a
composite structure, such as beams, columns, slabs, roofs, steel bracings, walls, cores and
foundations, without making any compromise in the application of the corresponding Eurocode
regulations for each structural element. It includes a complete steel connections design
environment and also a separate environment for the detailed analysis and design of composite
elements.
EXPERT Composite uses modern interface elements and presentation methods to provide
enhanced data input and project overview. In addition, it creates a fully automated comprehensive
calculations report.
EXPERT Composite is the most efficient solution for dealing with the complexities of the design of
composite concrete and steel buildings.

Superior software solutions for steel and composite structures
Advantages:
Ÿ Rapid erection that enables the
immediate exploitation of the
structure and offers an immediate
return on investment.
Ÿ Possibilities for several different
architectural choices.
Ÿ Large openings that result in
increase of the usable area and
multiple usage options.
Ÿ Improvement of sound and
thermal insulation capabilities.
Ÿ Reduction of the total foundation
volume due to significantly lighter
structures that result from
composite construction.
Ÿ Improved structure behavior
under seismic loading.
Ÿ Reduced total slab depth that
results in reduction of the total
height of the structure for the
same number of storeys or greater
number of storeys for the same
height.
Ÿ Contribution to the improvement
of the built environment.
Ÿ Reduction of the demolition cost
and increased recyclability of
materials.
EXPERT Composite significantly reduces the time
required to analyze and design a multistory
composite or steel structure.
Composite Construction
Composite construction is one of the most
widely used construction method in Europe. It is
considered to be the most efficient construction
method for urban areas.
This type of construction is according to
international regulations for sustainable
development, it is supported by the constant
evolution of the materials process and the
multiple architectural solutions that steel offers
as a construction element. In almost every
European country significant composite
structures have built over the recent years.
The study of a composite structure involves the
use of different parts of Eurocodes such as EC1,
EC2, EC3, EC4 and EC8. In addition there are
special requirements and additional
computations in comparison to a concrete or
steel structure.
Until lately, the design engineer was forced to
use disparate software applications in order to
complete the design of a composite multistory
structure according to the corresponding
regulations.
CCS has many years experience in research and
development of software solutions for steel
structures. The culmination of this experience is
EXPERT Composite.
With EXPERT Composite, the design engineer
obtains a modern and automated tool that
significantly reduces the time and effort
required for the analysis and design of
composite and steel multistory structures.
