Abstract

Glassdoor has helped thousands of job seekers research organizations and find
employment opportunities. To find out the impact these reviews have on job
seekers’ decision to apply for, and accept, jobs, Software Advice polled a total of
4,633 respondents in the US.
Key findings include:

• Almost half of job seekers use Glassdoor at some point in their job search.
• 48 percent of job seekers say reviews posted in the last 6 months have the
greatest impact on their perceptions of a company.

• The majority of job seekers place the most value on good ratings of a
company’s compensation and benefits.
