using CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAMand DB2. Case study requires 'XYZ Insurance Company' to develop “Claims
Processing System”, a front-end application,where a customer can apply for Claim and view his/her transactions.
Involves development of codes for Map, Batch and Online programs. Batch process:Batch processing involves
approval of the applied claims by the employee on monthly/daily basis and report generation of the data in one
module. The second module is used for calculation of profit/loss on monthlybasis and report generation.

Developing source code for map, table creation, online and batch programs and testing its functionality.Â
