Progress!
In keeping with our mission of connecting Artists, Fans and Venues through music, we are
doubleplus happy to introduce the OurStage News Feed.
News Feed Overview
Click on the "News Feed" link from your left navigation menu, and you�ll see a running list of
select updates regarding your music, your fans, your venues, or your favorite artists. Each item
will have links that you can follow to the corresponding page on OurStage. Don�t worry, you
won�t get bombarded with useless items detailing every move made by every connection you
have. See, when you join Fan Clubs or select "favorite" Artists, you are telling us what you�re
into. We�re just giving it back to you in delicious, bite-size morsels of pertinent information.
Mmmm, pertinent information. Did your favorite Artist get into the Top 10 this month? Did they
post a new gig? You�ll get it direct to your News Feed.
We�ll also provide you with some really useful updates on your own activity � if you�re an
Artist who has earned a badge, or placed highly in a competition, for instance, or if you�re a
Fan and have a new comment on your wall � it will all be filtered into your personalized News
Feed.
This is just the initial launch of the News Feed and we�ll soon be updating, renovating,
calculating, innovating and speculating, so please give us some feedback and let us know what
you�d like to see.
Here�s a full list of items that will appear in your News Feed...
Fans:
* An Artist or Venue whose Fan Club you�ve joined enters a competition, earns a notable
achievement, uploads a photo, or posts a Blog entry.
News Feed New Image
* Someone posts a comment on your wall.
Basic Artists and Venues:
If you�ve joined the Fan Club of other artists, you will also see the Fan News Feed items
as listed above. Also:
* You�ve earned a competition badge / won or charted highly in competition.
News Feed Competition
Premium Artists:
In addition to the above, as a Premium Artist, you will be notified via News Feed when:
* A user RSVP to your events.
* A user joins or leaves your Fan Club.
News Feed Fan Club
* A user rates (thumbs) or favorites your music.
News Feed Like Song
* A user sets you as their favorite Artist.
