1. DEPARTMENT OF MERCANTILE LAW
13 March 2015
To Whom It May Concern
REFERENCE: Ms Simonné Jasmine Miller (student number 11089998)
It gives me great pleasure to provide written reference regarding Ms Miller who I got
to know in 2014 as a final year LLB student in the compulsory subject Tax Law which
I lecture. She also completed her LLB dissertation under my supervision.
Ms Miller approached her dissertation in a very positive manner and was able to
work independently. She responded well to criticism and direction. During her
research seminar, where she had to discuss her findings, she demonstrated an in-
depth understanding of the law and was able to formulate arguments and answer
questions in a rational manner.
Throughout her final year she displayed good people skills and she is a very positive,
passionate person. Accordingly, I have no hesitation in testifying to her ability and
integrity, and in recommending Ms Miller for appointment to any post for which she
possesses the necessary qualifications.
I wish Simonné only the very best in her future endeavours.
Kind Regards
