31. Canada Winter Games
The largest multi-sporting and cultural event ever held in Prince George
Highlights
• This event will involve 2,350
athletes, 950 coaches and officials,
up to 4,500 volunteers with
thousands of visitors in attendance
• Britco is the exclusive modular
building supplier for the 2015
Winter Games and will be assisting
the Host Society in welcoming
athletes from every part of Canada
to Prince George
• Britco is an official sponsor of the 2015 Canada Winter Games, taking
place in Prince George and Northern BC from February 13, 2015 to
March 1, 2015.
• Britco will help meet the space and logistics requirements for the
Games - some of the buildings designed and supplied by Britco will be
reconfigured into community library facilities and relocated to four First
Nation communities in British Columbia after the Games.
• One library has been designated for the Lheidli T’enneh Nation, the
Official Host First Nation of the 2015 Canada Winter Games.
• Britco’s First Nation Community Library Partnership is similar to the
Olympic Legacy Housing community legacy initiative that Britco
incorporated into its role as an Official Supplier of the Vancouver 2010
Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
