With the help of your manager scrutinize a special task or project, in which it was difficult for you to achieve the
objective. Ask yourself critical questions about your performance. What could I have done differently to achieve
my objective? Use your insights when approaching the next task. Set yourself realistic and measurable objectives.
Objectives should be challenging yet still achievable. The more precisely you know your objectives, the more
effectively will you achieve them.
When you have a plan or a project, inform other people about it and ensure that people see you as the originator
and the person responsible. In this way you will force yourself to retain the initiative.
