Regulatory requirements force the Bank to introducecontrols to
manage and monitor administrator activities over the bank
production servers.
BalabitShell Control Box is a user monitoring appliancethatcontrols
privileged access to remote IT systems,records activities in
searchable,movie-likeaudittrails,and prevents malicious actions.
The clients connect to the servers through RDP, SSH or TELNET
protocols and the connections go through Shell Control Box which
generates audittrails of the connections.These audittrails are
monitored by the auditors in the bank.
In the AMR4V project we are deployingand integrating the Balabit
Shell Control Box in the Deutsche Bank IT environment. I am
working as a Level-2 ServiceOperation specialistand providing24x7
Production Support for BalabitShell Control Box.Located at
Deutsche Bank, Eschborn I’m the SPOC for the bank, managing
work for a team of 3 people in India.

Initial setup/configuration of Databaseserver on Linux/Windows machines, database roles, table spaces,
partitions.
PostgreSQL databaseadministration - Backup and restore of database,auto-vacuum process with the help
of Unix Cron scripts - to recover disk space occupied by updated or deleted row, update data statistics
used by the query planner and to protect against loss of very old data due to transaction ID wraparound

Defined database model with the help of Business Object Model provided by client – relational tables,

This projectwas for a US client. The project was for a ticketing
company – TDC. Provenue application was used for onlinebooking
provided by Tickets.com. This application handled thesaleof tickets,
for different events in different games seasons in US basically for
baseball.Theapplication performancewas not good enough for
generating the reports for regulators and this slowperformance was
causingnoncompliance.
In this project I have worked with data warehouse performance
optimization – created data marts, Materialized views,dimensions,

The Group's principal activitiesareto providea wide range of
financial services.They have loan,credit card and guarantee
businesses.The operations were carried outthrough the two
divisions:Financial services and other operations.
For its financial services,the organization was usinga systemsince
longtime and the system was efficient enough to give a down time
of hardly 8 seconds.They gave us a challengeto build the new loan
system with 0 seconds downtime. The application had different
modules – Security, Loans, Guarantee, Write-off, Collections.
This projectwas a good opportunity to work with a banking
application,closely lookinginto the Japanese loan system and the
new culture.
Roles and Responsibilities
Involved in the development of the prototype, Collections Module,with base navigation and data flow,in
initial phases of the Project.
Involved in the initial databasesetup likecreatingdata dictionary,ERdiagramand data modelling.
Developed the DFDs and FSDs for the screens of different processes in the project based upon this
