3. Liver cirrhosis
Cirrhosis is a chronic liver disease that arise due to alcoholism, hepatitis, and it can
also be defined as late stage of fibrosis caused by many related diseases and
conditions.
4. Types of liver cirrhosis
Cirrhosis is classified into four stages including:
• Stage I: Steatosis characterized by inflammation of the
bile duct or liver, it might cause damage to the liver
• Stage II: Fibrosis due to inflammation mostly stays
asymptomatic until it reaches stage three and four
• Stage III: Scars tissue replaces good tissue in the
liver.
• Stage IV: Liver failure or advanced liver disease or
hepatic failure
7. Diagnosis of liver cirrhosis
Cirrhosis can be diagnosed easily because it leads to obvious complications, there
are different technique and methods for diagnosing.

• Preventative care can be taken by the patients themselves to avoid cirrhosis of
the liver altogether. Preventative care can be divided into three steps:
• Healthy lifestyle adoption
• Regular screenings for liver disease
• Care optimization, especially in risk populations
