My Career Passion is that something on the inside of me want let me sit still and not complete
my BAS degree and someday my Doctoral degree. Being in Leadership/ Management field
helps me to understand who I am. It seems no matter where I go I tell myself that I am not going
to do more than I am suppose to. I always find myself going above and beyond my job function
but it is something that I cannot control. Sometimes I really just want to be normal to sit and
receive. We say something however I know it is a drive that I cannot control or explain. I am
glad because it helps me stay informed and humble to know that there is something that is more
powerful than I that want let me stop until I achieve what I believe I was born to do.
My (Short- term goals) I have a few short term goals. One is to finish my BAS, by summer 2015.
Being back in school this late in my life is a bit hard but, thank God! Doable. I always dreamed
of getting my degrees even becoming a doctor but, never thought until now possible. The other
short term goal for which I am embarrassed to say is to buy me another home in a prestigious
community. I have always being afraid of moving; now since my mom is deace I fell now is the
time do what I was afraid to do and become. I would like to do this by January 2016.

Long term for me is attaining my MBA and then my Doctoral degrees. I have a four and fifteen
year old still at home. They are in fact my motivation behind getting my degrees. I have to older
daughters who encourage me to go for it and support me all the way. I am very gratefully for
this. If all goes the way I have planed I should be receiving my Doctoral by 2019, God’s will I’ll
just be 49years old and from what I am told that is when life really begins.
In doing all this I really believe that it is the will of the Lord, because I was the one they said
would not make it. That I would never have anything but God, saw different for my life and I am
glad about. I really want to complete and finish all my degrees not only to prove the nay sayers
wrong but to all so give my kids and grandkids an inheritance and legacy that they will be proud
of and glad to follow...
