3. THE
OBJECTIVE
The Study was proud to host the artist
Hormazd Narielwalla’s Dead Man’s Pat-
terns: Memento Mori exhibition.
Horazd collaborated with BAFTA
award winning interactive artist Ed
Burton who created an accompanying
analogue light display to illuminate the
collection.
The Study hosted the launch party and
then ran the exhibition for 2 weeks.
4. THE
SOLUTION
The Study’s flexability proved invalu-
able for this exhibition. The minimal-
ism of the space provided the perfect
platform for Ed Burton’s light display,
whilst the neutral interior focused at-
tention towards the collection.
Dead Man’s Patterns was Hormazd
Narielwalla’s first investigation into
three dimensional collage. The Study’s
magnetic hanging system ensured that
none of the three dimensions of the
collection were overlooked.
The Study’s bar, projection capabili-
ties and inbuilt wireless sound system
guaranteed that the opening evening
was an enormous success.
5. RESULTS
Both the opening evening and the
exhibition were fantastic successes
with all the works being sold, buyers
included the Saatchi gallery.
