The GBSO Fellowship Programme
This will be tutorial based and aimed at lifting the successful Fellow into
the class that could, for example, successfully be accepted to study for
Master Studies at Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities.
The programme will be composed of 6 courses, each tutorial-based,
involving 5-10 students and a number of topic areas on the Oxford model.
Each topic would require the student to write a literature-researched
essay also on the Oxford model.

The overall aim is to broaden and deepen the aspirant Fellow’s
understanding of the world we live in and its past and possible future, to
enable them to discuss critically topics of concern to world leaders, and

What does the Fellowship do for you?
A GBSO fellowship leads to a cultured, intellectually curious, problem
solving individual and prepares the student for high quality graduate
study at top global universities, or, if that is not their aim, for top jobs in
major corporations and government.
How does the Fellowship do that?
By its Oxbridge style pedagogy, it ensures that fellows think through
problems from first principles taking into account work already published
on the issues under discussion. Every topic requires the student to
prepare an essay addressing it, following three or more days’ intensive
study of the literature on the subject.
