Thirumalai Chemicals share price surged 5% within the first half hour of trading on Tuesday due to strong financial results. The company reported a net profit of Rs 37 crores for the first half of FY2017, compared to Rs 4 crores for the same period last year. Revenue grew from Rs 167.94 crores last quarter to Rs 217.21 crores this quarter, an increase of approximately Rs 50 crores. The share price has breached the upper circuit limit every trading session since November 22nd, growing from Rs 577.70 to Rs 755.00 in one week, a 30% increase from recent lows.

Within the first half an hour of Tuesday’s trade, Thirumalai
Chemicals share price surged up by 5 per cent to make an
intraday high of Rs 757.20.
Thirumalai Chemicals reported a net profit of Rs 37 crores for
the first half of financial year 2017 as against a profit of Rs 4
crores a year ago.

Chemicals reported revenue of Rs 217.21 crores against the
revenue of Rs 167.94 crores for the quarter ended 30th June 2016, marking a revenue growth
of approximately Rs 50 crores.
