Serafima Piskun interned in the human resources department of Cheney Public Schools for seven months. She tackled large projects with tenacity, including gathering and sorting staff immunization records and creating a new filing system for past employee personnel files. I have no hesitancy in writing a letter of recommendation for Ms. Serafima Piskun. It has been my
pleasure to work with Serafima over the last seven months while she served as an intern in our
human resources department.
Serafima has tackled several large projects with great tenacity. She gathered and sorted our
immunization records, checking for appropriate immunizations for each staff member. This first
required that she complete a considerable amount research and learn the immunization requirements
for school district staff in Washington. She also assessed past employee personnel files that were
sorted alphabetically. She then created a filing system for those files which will allow us to
efficiently purge files according to the state records retention schedule.
From our collaboration I can tell that Serafima has a strong work ethic, pays attention to details, and
has no dread of routine work. Her ability to analyze assigned tasks and projects and outline
necessary courses of action is invaluable.
