Subject: Letter of Recommendation for Vara
To Whom It May Concern:
Over the last few months, I had the opportunity to work with Vara during his internship with the Illinois
Department of Children and Family Services. Having overlooked the database tasks that Vara
completed, I have come to know the quality of his work and work ethic.
Throughout his internship, Vara was recognizably prompt and thorough. His dedication to his
responsibilities is a testament to his desire to succeed. His eagerness to complete various projects made
us confident to ask for his assistance when necessary.
One project that stands out in particular was Vara’s creation of the Senate Resolution 140 Audit
SharePoint data collection sites for Shelter Youth and Dual Involved Youth. This contribution was
integral in making for a clear audit of our department’s functions.
I fully expect Vara to utilize these talents even further in whatever career path he chooses. His
commitment to high‐quality results will make him an ideal job candidate in his field upon graduation.
Sincerely,
Christine J. Rivera
