Dear Mr or Ms.
I write this letter to apply for the Software Engineer. I learned about this job opening
advertised on the indeed.com. Developing computer system has been always fascinating
to me ever since I had become a college student. After graduating Andong University with
B.A. in Business Management, I had an ample opportunity to be trained at workplaces
where developing and maintaining computer systems are the main tasks. I continued to
build up my hands-on experiences about computer hardware system by working for two
computer companies for 3 years and 4 years, consecutively. Then, I worked for an
engineering company for 6 years. My main tasks were to manage network system and
computer hardwares at the companies. Meanwhile, my work experiences greatly
motivated me to learn about software system more seriously. Such motivation led me to
study computer science at a college. I, as an honors student, majored in computer
programming at the Suffolk County Community College. The class projects in advanced
Java programing course I took confirmed that I greatly enjoy programming codes. I
successfully finished for my assignments at school. Although the project is written with
Java language, I am also familiar with other object-oriented languages. After graduate the
school, I came back to my country. I took a curriculum which is called Java web
development base on Cloud at KG ITBank in Korea. I learn a lot of skills that I wrote on
resume. Also, I made a web program which is related wedding consulting with my team
members. Attached url on google driver you can see the movie. Even if it is wrote multiple
languages in English and Korean, you can understand what we do. My previous work
experiences helped me to become a fast and self-motivated learner of any new types of
knowledge regarding computer system. I also have a strong desire to expand my
knowledge about other languages, including Python, Ruby and Swift. Although I have a
Bachelor degree in business management instead of B.S. in computer science, I do have
an Associate degree in computer science as well as enough amount of work experiences.
In addition, I am trying to get B.S. in computer science in Korea. I will get it on coming
September, 2017. I have been unremittingly trained as a specialist of computer system and
management for thirteen years as shown in my resume. Thus, I believe my academic
background and work experiences will successfully enable me as a programmer to make
a contribution to your company. I greatly look forward to seeing you in person and talking
