1. A Brief Introduction:
I have completed my Bachelors in Computer Applications from Christ University.
Affected with cerebral palsy - spastic quadriplegia, I am wheel chair bound and require constant support
for changing my position and for my personal needs. Thus, the job will have to be home based, except
for a fortnightly or a monthly visit to the place of work, where my mother will accompany me.
I completed my basic education, followed by secondary and senior secondary (NIOS), from the Spastics
Society of Karnataka (SSK), with immense support from my parents, the staff and volunteers.
I use computer with the help of assistive technology, a laptop installed with Windows 7 that includes
speech recognition for commanding as well as for typing, with the assistance of which I have completed
my Bachelors in Computer Applications from Christ University.
After my graduation I was a content editor in my friend’s website for one year. This website provides
sample computer programs of five different computer languages with explanations and on the spot

In September 2014 I got an opportunity from enable India to be a part of EMC’s Profound Disability
Internship Program. Here I was shortlisted among the 300 plus candidates from enable India to be one
amongst the 10 candidates who are pursuing EMC’s Profound Disability Internship Program right now.
Despite my limitations, I have a wide social circle through social networking site, Facebook.
I am a voracious reader of both fiction and nonfiction. My favourite author is former President of India
Abdul Kalam, whom I had the opportunity to meet at SSK years ago.

Work Related Projects
Before entering into this internship program I was a content editor in my friend’s website. This is a self-
learning website where it contains sample programs of 5 programming languages with description and on
the spot execution. When I was associated with this project I used git to build the website in that way I
am quite familiar with the git application.
From February 2015 I have worked for combining OVM test cases using the python computer language in
EMC in the team of GSE. Here I faced a lot of challenges with respect to coding with speech recognition
as there are no proper IDEs which take direct dictation into them unlike word processor documents such
as notepad and Microsoft word. Here most of the time I spent researching for IDEs which would suit my
speech recognition. Finally three months back I stepped across eclipse which is useful in coding with
speech recognition and that’s how I could complete the task of combining test cases.
