• Served as liaison to bridge gaps between Transmission and Renewable Development for interconnection of renewable
generation to the transmission system.
• Received P6 training for customized layouts, project/activity screen functions, logic ties, lag usage, soft constraints, etc.

• Reviewed BCA packet and project creation process, and performed schedule blowouts.

• Managed all Georgia Power small solar PPA’s for the Green Energy Program as well as many of the Power Purchase
Agreements (PPAs) for the ASI program for small and medium size installations.
• Served as liaison for discussions prior to contracting price, payback, interconnection and metering cost, contracting, site
visits as well as contract maintenance.
• Evaluated the economics of solar and work with customers to help them understand the economics of solar and possible
economic impact to them.
• Collaborate with Pricing and Rates and Forecasting to assist key account customers with economic evaluation and to learn
more about how solar will have an economic impact on Georgia Power.
• Directly involved with state regulatory processes for reporting to the PSC as well as responding to request from PSC staff
and commissioners to expand the solar program.

• Worked as a co-op in the Carrollton Operating Headquarters for three quarters and three semesters. During these times I

giving direction to an underground contract service crew.
• Assisted with large three-phase overhead line construction jobs; responsible for engineering of lighting jobs, underground
services, and some overhead to underground power distribution design for a tri-county area.
• Duties included directing an underground contract service crew continued throughout my stay in the Carrollton area. In
August of 2000 I began working part-time and completed my final co-op semester at the North Shallowford Operating
Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Here my duties were much the same as the Carrollton area except the volume of work
was greater. I assisted engineers and engineering staff with various calculations, designing and estimating the underground
power distribution of new subdivisions as well as the relocation of overhead power distribution.
