The Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Society was founded in 1959. The Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Society commits itself to the following matters: • promoting MS research • supporting intensive interdisciplinary cooperation between MS-professionals • providing a wide range of services to enable people with MS to achieve the highest possible degree of independence and quality of life • offering effective assistance for relatives and carers of people with MS • creating public awareness for the needs of people with MS and their families
