4. P roposed S olution
01 noJam is a hardware device which will be attached on top of
every car by the car manufacturers.
02 It is a device which will connect with other devices and form a
network cluster in real time when the density distribution of
cars in a circular area radius will cross threshold limit which
could lead to congestion.
There can be millions of clusters in real time which will be
shown as the G.P.S locations of the cars present in a single
cluster which will give assistance to each driver in avoiding
the congestion at large scale .

6. C ongestion Detection by C lustering
noJam will activate a network cluster
when multiple GPS locations of nearby
cars resides in the same circular area.
If more than a threshold amount of cars
are present in the same network every
driver can follow the temporary GPS
location updates of other drivers so as
to avoid congestion.
Thus noJam can detect millions of
congestion hotspot around the city in
real time.

7. C ongestion Avoidance by minimiz ing
Traffic Waves
Traffic Waves is one of the major cause of
day to day traffic jams. [ Japanese Experiment ]
We have proposed a technology which could
maintain the distance between traffic that
reduces the generation of traffic Waves.
We have integrated a signaling system (
Traffic Wave Disruptor) which uses an
ultrasonic distance sensor attached to the in
front of vehicle to measure the inter-distance
between the cars.
If the distance is below a threshold limit a
Yellow LED will light up indicating the driver
should back up.

9. Traffic Accident real time notification A lerts
with location updates
The most faced problem is Traffic Accident in
India and most of the countries. The most
crucial phase of noJam comes into play here.
noJam is integrated with a realtime
notification and alerting system by which,
when an accident occurs in some location it
will fetch real time GPS location data.
The GPS location data will be transferred to
the contacts list of the driver with a
notification alert.
